This revolutionary method is based on the ultrasonic toothbrush that generates up to 96 million ultrasonic waves (air vibrations) per minute. These ultrasonic waves are then transferred, via the toothbrush head, onto emmi®-pet’s specifically formulated toothpaste. At this point “micro bubbles” are generated which react with the air vibration and implode.  These implosions effectively eliminate and remove food particles, plaque and bacteria from within your pet’s mouth.

How do appointments work?

We start with a free suitability assessment based on pictures of your dogs teeth (or a quick check during their usual grooming appointment. If we decide your dog is suitable you'll be offered an initial appointment which lasts for approximately 1 hour. Your dog will be slowly introduced to the toothbrush and toothpaste and receive their first clean.

Following the initial appointment your dog will need 3-6 follow up appointments across 3-4 weeks to clear teeth and gums.

Following your dogs initial sessions you can book shorter maintenance cleans and we recommend these every 4-6 weeks.

Is emmi®-pet right for my dog?

emmi®-pet is a grooming-grade oral care service for adult dogs. It’s ideal for regular maintenance and breath freshness. Puppies should wait until adult teeth have erupted. If your dog has heavy tartar, inflamed gums, bad pain, or mouth odour that seems severe, please book a vet check first.

 

Is this a replacement for a veterinary dental procedure?
No. emmi®-pet does not diagnose, treat, or cure dental disease. It’s a maintenance service to support your at-home care and routine vet checks.

How many sessions will my dog need?
Most dogs start with an intro visit and then a short series of top-ups over several weeks. The exact plan depends on your dog’s mouth and tolerance.

What does the toothpaste do?
The emmi®-pet toothpaste helps transmit ultrasound along the gumline. The head stays still—there’s no scrubbing—so the microbubbles do the work at the surface.

Will you remove tartar?
We don’t scrape teeth. Visible tartar may soften and reduce gradually with repeated sessions and good home care, but outcomes vary.

Is it suitable for all breeds and ages?
Generally suitable for most adult dogs. We offer a free suitability check before your first visit.
